Why should I do business with you?

We make it our goal to provide you the best lawn care and landscaping services possible in addition to a wonderful customer service experience. If you aren’t happy, then we aren’t happy either.


We consider ourselves a customer service company that happens to do lawn care and landscaping. If you’re looking for cheap, “cut’n run” service, inexperienced laborers, office staff that won’t call you back, or a provider that doesn’t communicate with you – we’re not for you! We can handle everything your lawn needs to be healthy – and make your yard the yard of envy in the neighborhood. At OZ Property Maintenance, our lawn care experts will provide the best service you’ve experienced.​

What is included in basic lawn care services?

Each basic service includes mowing, edging, weed-eating, and blowing of debris. It is our intention to leave each lawn looking better than we found it. Basic lawn service does not include trimming shrubs or pulling weeds. We are a happy to perform these tasks for you with a bi-monthly or monthly beds and shrubs service

How often do you mow my lawn?

We can perform weekly, bi-weekly or monthly services to meet your preferences. However, cutting your yard on a weekly routine is recommended to achieve the healthiest and thickest growth.​

What areas do you service?

We currently service all of Greene, Ulster, Columbia and Albany Counties. We are growing as fast as we can!

What happens if it rains?

Most often the rain will stop in less than an hour and our crew will resume service. While we strive to provide consistent, reliable service, occasionally we will get rained out for a whole day. If that is ever the case, we will send an email alert to explain the situation and communicate any changes. Most often we will mow your yard the first fair weather day available. We will never charge for a service that we did not provide due to inclement weather.

Does my lawn care rate ever change?

The short answer is yes. But we will never change your price without letting you know. Reasons we might change: 1) inflation – each year we typically have a 2%-3% price change for inflation and labor rates. 2) Some times we mess up and just really misprice things. In order to provide excellent service over the long run, we have to price things correctly. 

What happens if OZ​ breaks something?

We try really hard not to break stuff, but if we are honest…it happens. We stand by our work – good and bad – and will take responsibility for our mistakes.
